A volunteer writes: Lady is aptly named. She is very sweet and handles nicely on her leash. She sits on command and has great manners. Come take Lady for a stroll.
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Lady was extremely excitable, and was more interested in the surroundings than the handler during the assessment. She was excited during some of the handling items and often distracted and focused on objects in the room. She was also focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag interaction. Lady was stiff and cannot be pushed out of the food bowl during the food test, but did not growl, snap or bite. She was not interested in the toy items, and when given a rawhide she takes it away and puts her body between the assessor and the rawhide, showing no growling or stiffness. Dog-to-Dog: off leash she is loose and wiggly when greeting other dogs, she will play bow to initiate play, and will engage in soft play with males and females.

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 12/12/xxxx from NY xxxx6, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.
*ON 01/09/15 LADY WAS PUT ON DOH HOLD DUE TO A BITE INCIDENT IN THE SHELTER*** She will need an adopter or foster quickly after her hold is released, which should be on or around 1/19.
