Handsome sweet 11 mo old amstaff Kovu in danger@Brklyn kill shelter in Brooklyn, New York For Sale

Kovu came in as an owner surrender with limited information due to only owning Kuvo for several days. Upon intake it was noted that Kovu was loose and receptive to introduction, and allowed all handling. He was also reported to be insistent on leash but walked well and was responsive to guidance. During his assessment Kovu was sociable, and allowed the assessor to conduct all handling items without issue. He was relaxed during the tag item, and was a bit difficult to push out of the food bowl, but lifted his head when a bit of pressure was applied to his cheek, and he was easy to handle when engaged with the toys and rawhide items.
When off leash with other dogs, Kovu is a vocal play and is forward and assertive in his attempts to play. He will offer play bows to another dog and actively try and initate play. 4/2 Update Kovu is tolerant and enjoys play with an energetic female.
