Playful active 1yr old amstaff Bella in Brooklyn, New York For Sale

Notes: The previous owner states Bella lived with two adults and gets along with children and strangers. It was also stated that Bella has lived with dogs and has gotten along very well, but she may growl and/or bark at other dogs. The owner describes Bella as playful and very active. Bella was excited but very interested in interacting with handler during assessment - jumped up, licked hands and face. She was also excited during some of the handling items, but had soft body language. When playing tag with assessor Bella engages in play, with her body loose, a neutral tail wag, and mouth her was open. Bella did not resist being handled while eating, and was easily pushed out of the food bowl during the food test. She was not interested in the toy item and was easy to handle when chewing on rawhides. Dog-to-dog: off leash initially her body is tense. She will allow males and females to approach and sniff her, and when she warms up she engages in gentle play. Bella has shown an improvement in her dog social behavior throughout her stay, showing less timidity and playing with both a rougher and a gentler play style with all the other dogs she has met.
