Gorgeous cane corso Layla in danger@Brooklyn kill shelter in Brooklyn, New York For Sale

NAME: - Layla
REASON FOR SURRENDER - Eviction
RELATIONSHIP - Layla has been with the owner since she was a puppy
PEOPLE - Layla lives with 2 adults
OTHER ANIMALS - Layla lived with a small puppy
PERSONALITY/HABITS - Layla lived at home with another dog and got along well but she can be reactive to dogs she does not know. She is good for all handling by the owner at home including bathing but may guard family members when strangers approach. In the house Layla likes to get comfortable in her own spot. In the yard she enjoys digging and gets exercise on leash walks. Owner reports she is very insistent on leash. Laylas behavior around small children is unknown, owner reports she should be kept away from cats. Layla likes dry food.
TRAINING - Layla is housebroken and she knows the commands - come and stay.
MEDICAL - Layla was heat and seemed to have a hot spot on her left rear hock.
BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE - Upon intake Layla was somewhat indifferent to introduction. Layla was scanned for microchip (negative) and collared with the help of the owner. She was loose and relaxed in the room and walked on leash well not pulling much.
